Resolutions for 2009

In 2008, I joined a Facebook group called I’m Making 2008 the Best Year of My Life. It’s a unique global group where people join and report about the small and big successes they’ve achieved in 2008. These reports inspire people around the world to be positive and drive them to achieve their own goals.
In many ways without elaborating much, 2008 was indeed the best year of my life. And now, for 2009, I’m all set to make it even better!
Work and career stuff aside, here are my simple targets for 2009…
Targets for golf for 2009
- acquire my official handicap
- get a new golf bag (ACHIEVED, got my Nike Elite Series Black TourBag)
- get a set of irons for myself (ACHIEVED, got my Nike Victory Red Irons)
- get a hybrid club (ACHIEVED, got my Nike Sumo2 Squared Hybrid 3)
- get a nice putter
- get a nice driver (ACHIEVED, got my Nike Sumo2 5900 Squared Driver)
- join a golf competition (optional, probably towards the end of the year)
- break 80… this one’s gonna be really tough
Targets for fitness for 2009
I believe that besides the techniques and skills, better golf begins with better fitness. Hence, I’m making it a point to really boost up my fitness in 2009, once and for all. This will be like killing two birds with one stone, better looking and better golf.
The point of inspiration is simple, I must look absolutely fit and gorgeous when golf magazines start taking my pictures as their magazine covers. With all the flabs I have right now, hmmmm, no amount of Photoshop would be enough lol.
I’m not setting any targets in numbers like how many pounds to cut off and such, the goal is simple, fit-looking, no more bulging flabs and lots of fitness to pull off powerful “easy-swings”
Other targets
There are many other targets I have in mind but the two above would be the major ones (besides work and career of course!) Achieving the targets above would definitely help make 2009 the best year of my life, stay tuned and all the best in achieving your own goals too!
